An exhaustive study program covers the entire oxi-inflammation process related to epidermal lipids, at the stratum corneum level and the keratinocyte membrane. An innovative model of inflammation induced by lipid peroxidation was developed. A mix of lipids representative of the epidermis is oxidized by cigarette smoke condensate.
