In-line incorporation of Labrasol® as a permeation enhancer in ASDs by continuous hot melt extrusion: process development and optimization
sep 2026
This poster explores the in-line incorporation of Labrasol® into amorphous solid dispersions (ASDs) using continuous hot melt extrusion. Using fenofibrate as a model poorly water-soluble drug, the study demonstrates a scalable approach for combining lipid excipients with ASDs while maintaining processability, stability, and dissolution performance.
Poster CRS Lyon 2026 - The role of in vitro model complexity in lipid-based formulations screening a case study with ticagrelor
oct 2026
This poster evaluates different in vitro tools, ranging from simple to highly complex models (dissolution, lipolysis, and TIM), to characterize lipid-based formulations. The results show that each model captures different biopharmaceutical phenomena depending on its level of complexity, meaning that no single tool provides a complete picture.
