Operating instruction
- In the main vessel, weight phase A1 and heat at 75°C. Disperse Structure® XL under high shear for 10 minutes. Check that everything is well dispersed.
- Prepare the premix of phase A2 and add it into A1. Disperse for 5 minutes until homogeneous. Set the temperature at 70°C.
- Add oil phase A3 (not necessarily previously heated) into A1+A2 and heat at 70°C. Once melted, proceed with the emulsion under high shear (2000-3000rpm) for 10 minutes.
- Cool down until reaching 40°C under moderate mixing.
- Add Jeechem® NDA-LC (volatile oil) of phase B and mix under high shear for 10 minutes. Check that everything is homogenous. This specific process permits to use a low flashpoint oil without taking the risk to evaporate it.
- Continue to cool down and below 30°C, add the ingredients of phase C, D, E, one by one and disperse under medium shear. Check that everything is well incorporated.
- Finish to cool down, check pH and adjust with phase F.
