Vivart, which took place from 18 to 20 June in Paris, is an event co-organised by the association Artyculture and the French Rett Syndrome Association. It aims at helping little girls suffering from Rett syndrome, a rare disease that alters the central nervous system’s development.
What is the concept of Vivart? Making art using industrial materials!
Artists recover materials and transform them into works of art then offered for sale. Gattefossé donated filters, used to filter the products during the emptying of the reactors, and microscope slides. Original and surprising creations were presented to nearly 3000 visitors.
At the end of these 3 days of creations, 30 000 € were donated to the French Association of Rett Syndrome.
